"Gilgamesh, where are you hurrying to?
You will never find that life for which you are looking.
When the gods created man they allotted to him death,
but life they retained in their own keeping"

I think she's such a classy lady. She is popular in Vienna, where arts are very much appreciated. Here in the West, no one knows who Nana Mouskouri is, and it's their loss. Here in America if you are not ostentatious, you do not become famous. Class or a good voice do not matter. For all of you who live in Europe and other parts of the world, you are lucky. Americans are world's rudest and classless people.

All the men here are gay. Even if they are not outwardly gay, they are internally gay. You cannot meet a man with a masculine voice here in West. The closest you can get to hearing a masculine voice is if you meet a female smoker of 25+ years. Oh well, I'm sure this post will get flagged.

But I have forgotten tht email and password I had posted under here on allthelyrics.com,too. So I cannot retrieve it in my mailbox on the website. Thank you

My friend, I only sent a pm with A LINK to the song and NOT the whole CD!
I also sent it to the user named "stavroulanarchios" and NOT "stavroulaniarchos"

I won't answer to any other question about this subject in public, so if you have
any questions ask me via pm.

Default Triantafilo Sto Stithos (A Rose On The Chest) Nana Mouskouri

Hi everybody. I would like to know if anyone has this mp3 and if so would someone like to send me it. Also, I am wondering if someone knows where I can get this song without involving amazon.com or without me buying the cd.

    Thank you

    The rose on the chest

    / To triantafillo sto stithos
    The rose on the chest

/ kathos stekosoun plai mou, thimame
while you were standing by my side, I remember
/ se pira ke se sikosa psila
I got hold of you and raised you high-up

/ kilan ta sinnefa ke trehi i foni mou
the clouds are rolling and my voice pours out (streams)
/ na tin akousis ke na 'rthis
for you to hear it and come

/ ke mes ston kipo, afino to kormi mou
and in the garden, I rest my body
/ krimeno sta llouloudia, na to vris
hidden amongst the flowers, for you to find

/ s' anazito kathe proi sto perivoli

two roses I gather together in my lap
