Hello, could someone please help me translate Melhem Zein's song 'Kan Sadi2i' (كان صديقي ) into english. This song is fairly new. (2010) He sang this recently on Star Academy 7 and on Studio El Fann.

It's about Melhem's best friend stealing the love of his life from him and he's singing to the girl.. mocking her for saying she loved him at some point all the while marrying his "best friend"

thats my translation but someone put a spin on it by trying to correct it when in fact they made it incorrect lol.. when he says ma howe eli sara2ek meni.. the word ma doesn't mean NOT in the song.. ma howe - HE IS.. Melhem is pointing out the fact that the ex-friend stole his love from him.. the person who did it is trying to make the translation overly literal by translating word for word and trumping the actually meaning to the song.. So wherever you got it from let them know that it was incorrect
