Good job, but there is a little mistake, "5shamha tawil we bzinha cha3élla" was false, "chénha dawya we bzinha cha3élla" is the correct parole. translate =
"she's bright, she sparks with her beauty"

    Goodby

Nice transalation but there are mistakes in the transalation & the words too, 1st Mr.Nader it's not "chénha dawya we bzinha cha3élla" it's "chémâa dawya we bzinha cha3élla" = "a bright candle she is, she sparks with her beauty"

    and

Miss Larosa, it's not "weltaf ri7ak ki mesk liyeli" oO it's " werda fay7a ki mesk liyali" = "a smelling flower as night musk she is" and musk is not a name of an arabic perfum, it's a flower called Mimulus in english

and "na7kiha lelli ya3sha9 b7elli" it's not "i recite to who feel pity for my condition" it's "i recite to who feel love like me

    repeat #

    زينة وباهيه وشحال لغزالة
    شمعة ضويها بزينها شعالة
    صغيرة وشابة وش حلم سرارة
    تخلي بزينها لعقول حيارة

To my Arabian ear, this is what it sounds more like to me:

    لعندي جاية من بعيد تشالي
    L'andi Jayyah min b'id tshali
To me she comes from afar carried.
    وردة فايحة كمسك الليالي
    Wardah fayhah kamisk al-layali
A fragrant rose such as the musk of the nights.
    قصة طويلة شاغلة لي بالي
    Qissah Tawilah Shaghlah Li Bali
A long story occupying my mind.
    نحكيها للي يعشق بحالي
    Nahkiha Lalli Ya'shaq Bihali
We narrate it to those who love like I do

زينة سحرتني مريامة، لا لا مريامة
Zainah Saharatni Miryama, La La Miryama
Beautiful, She enchanted me, Miryama, La La Miryama
خلتني يمة عايش في منامة، لا لا مريامة
Khallatni Yammah 'Aiysh Fi Manamah, La La Miryama
She made me, mother, living in a dream, La La Myriama
    هيَ عمري و هيَ عينيَّ، لا لا مريامة
Hiya 'Umri Wa Hiya 'Ayniyya, La La Myriama
She is my life and she is my two eyes, La La Myriama,
    شابة زهرة و مكتوبة ليَّ
Shabbah Zahra Wa Maktubah Liyya, La La Myriama,
A young flower and destined for me, La La Myriama,

    لعندي جاية من بعيد تشالي
    L'andi Jayyah min b'id tshali
To me she comes from afar carried.

زينة و باهية، وش حال غزالة
    Zainah Wa Bahiyah, Wish-Hal Ghazalah,
Beautiful and brilliant, what a Gazelle!
    شمعة ضاوية بزينها شعالة
    Sham'ah Dhawiyah Bi-Zainha Sha'alah
A lit candle, with her beauty burning,
صغيرة و شابة، وش حال مسرارة
    Saghirah Wa Shabbah, Wish-Hal Misrarah
Little and young, What a pleasant sight!
    تخلي بزينها العقول حيارا
    Tukhalli Bi-Zinha Al-'Uqul Hayara
She makes, with her beauty, the minds at a loss.

زينة سحرتني مريامة، لا لا مريامة

Note: My translation is based on proper general Arabic writing, so the variation of North African Arabic accent is accounted for in sound not in spelling.

you guys really made me regret losing time to write lyrics and translate it for you,no appreciation at all !!! I am north african (Tunisian) but moroccan dialect is a dialect that I can't understand properly,
so sorryt to bother my self ,but from now on I will only translate "Fus7a" ,egyptian, tunisian or libanese.
    life is Super good
    (this is bull ****)
if you seek arabic translation,PM me

    Dear Larosa,

In my defense I stumbled upon this post by pure coincidence, not with an intention to undermine any previous translation efforts. I only wished to contribute by offering one more try. Like yourself, I also am no expert on the Moroccan dialect (I think most Arabians would say the same in fact, it's an exceptionally unique combination of Arabic & Amazigh I think - Berber vernacular).

If my contribution offended you in any way, I apologize. Feel free to remove it.

    Regards,
    Jocktanian Wolf

Suit yourself. My intention was to contribute not to offend. And I can't even see how additional participation can cause offense, unless there are ego issues here. I'll dig around to see how membership is cancelled in this Forum & be out of your here shortly.
