I za to breme.. nisam sigurna da misli na sebe kao "beggar" tj nekako mi je logicnije da kaze - even if they begged".. ali naravno, mozda nisam u pravu

Tekst s kojeg sam prevodio je isao "...umjesto..." a ne "...umi..." ljepotice, pa nije bilo nikako logicno, malo sam tu improvizovao.

I kad bi prosio = Even if I begged
ergo. If I were a beggar (malo parafrazirano, ali mi je nekako najlogicnije ).

so what does it mean, umi lice ljepotice?

It can mean "wash your face beautiful girl" (which I thought at first and it seemed totally out of place there) but I suppose it makes much more sense that he is talking to the guitar in which case it means : "Wash the beautiful girl’s face" (click).
