Yara - Lama tetala3

Hi,

Can someone tell me if this translation I've done (well, tried to do) of a song by Yara is correct? I'm trying to learn the Shemsi dialect(s) and I find listening to music to be helpful. :-) I didn't see the song on the list of her songs already translated.

Any corrections/constructive criticism much appreciated! :-) Also, there were a few words I didn't know and couldn't find. Any help is appreciated! :-)

some of the wordings are wrong though .. like the first like .. lama te6ala3 .. means when you see me.. not when i see you .. so i just fixed them =D

When she says, لا بقى بفهم عليهم , is the "them" refering to her thoughts?
Also, ظل clearly doesn't have anything to do with a shadow as I thought! After reading the proper translation I looked in the good old Hans Wehr dictionary and I see now that this word can mean "remain" as well as "cast a shadow" depending on the verb form. Does ظل قبالي always come together, or can ظل be used with other prepositions, such as مع ?

For your second question, yes she's referring to her thoughts

And in answer to your third question, yes dal means with so you can easily say dal ma3i - stay with me or dal hadi - stay near me etc
