I hear this song a lot at work, but the music comes from some external source, so unfortunately there's no one available to ask about the playlists...
It's a female singer, and I'd say the song is a pop ballad. Based on the other stuff that is generally played, it might be an album track rather than something that has come out as a single, and there is also the possibility that it might be a Dutch artist (tho there is no obvious accent).
Some lyrics that I remember are: (they may not be exact or in the right order tho)
