Solved: Help please last heard 30+years ago

Hi

I know this is a tall order but can anyone identify the artist and title of the song from the below lysics. I last heard this about 30 years ago and thought it was called my typewriter, but I have been unable to find it an any internet search! I believe it is punk/new wave type genre.

On a dusty desk
In the east wing of my castle
sits my typewriter
My typewriter sits there every day
and every night
Its gramaticaly correct
dots it;s i's an crosses t's
It does what it should do
every time i press the keys
