Παράκληση - Αλκίνοος Ιωαννίδης

Amethystos, could kindly find me a picture that depicts a yard into a cell please? It reminds me a bit of the dimensions in the Discworld, the Unseen University, e.g. which occupies a much greater space than the actual space in which it was built.
P.S. Panselinos should be jealous, I'm falling in love with Iwannidhs just by translating his lyrics.

It's simply another metaphor in a song full of them.

The one thing that I hate in Ioannidis is that he always gives the sence of
copying hiself over and over and over again.

I was young when in 1993 the Lp: "stin agora tou kosmou" was released.
Back then, Ioannidis' songs seamed so different....
AND they had strange UNDERSTANDABLE lyrics.

Give a try to these two links and check out if there were some exceptional
steps forward of him since then. (Even if there were some goods songs afterwards)

You may be right. I've been discovering him only recently (I'm translating the lyrics of Alexiou - Iwannidhs - Malamas concert in this period) so he's something new and fresh to me. I love the lyrics of Απόγευμα στο δέντρο, Σταγόνες στο γiαλό and especially these last ones I asked about - Παράκληση. Although the big find for me so far is Να βάλω τα μεταξωτά.
