SOLVED: Close to heaven

I'm looking for a song, but unfortunately I only remember one line, and I'm not even sure if it's from the chorus or a from a verse (or even the bridge).
All I know is:

It's not too late, we're close to heaven

It's a slowish pop song, and the (female) singer makes me think of Ilse DeLange (or Stevie Ann, or someone else who sings with a slight country vibe - but not overly twangy), but I haven't (yet) been able to find the song among theirs.
