    DEAR Ligeia, Thank you very much for your reply. I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS SONG FOR NEALY 20 YEARS. THE MYTH IS FINALLY SOLVED. THIS IS ONE OF THE GREATEST SONG EVEN THOUGH I ONLY LISTEN TO WAGNER.

    Yes, I believe it is.
    It was written by Luigi Denza, same composer of Funiculì, funiculà (a very very popular neapolitan song).
