Need help identyfing song/artist

I have a melody stuck in my head from either an 80's or early 90's group. It sounds like a young group of females (or one?) and it's not really singing but like slow rhythmic talking (almost rap like without the soul?) so almost contemporary. The beat is slow but rhythmic. I think it contains the lyric "At the end of day" Can anyone guess at this?

My wild guess is "At The End Of The Day" by Kellie Coffey (Country & western)
