Here are some lyrics I wrote the other day, for my band Within the Massacre.
NO ONE shall take credit for them, for they are MINE.
I just wanted to get more opinions on if they are good or not.
So here they are...

Upon Torn Wings

As we recall the times of the old, we will always remember the age of gold.
Now lost in the shadows of misery, we still live to see this plague consume everything.
Betrayed by our brethren. Divine goddesses deceive us bemused men.

In the end, loyalty and beauty shows a side we thought we'd never see...
"The light will have its darkness," Were left to question, "Why must this be?"

Decimate all who stand in your way. Everyday we learn our trust has lied in the worst of places...

"I will live through this Hell no longer. I earn gashing wounds not to the back, but upon my face.
Why would I return to such a place? Why live through suffering when I could cherish my life?"

As we stand, unified, we will arise...

Let us raise the blades. Wield them with the determination that can overthrow any king.
Fight like the dragon who flies upon torn wings; through the battles won,
and through the battles lost.

Don't regret the wars where there emerged no victory.
Heed my words, these memories will become your greatest weapon......

Us gathered few will unify to relinquish those who make us fall.
We shall rise above all, fighting for our right to take command.
Let us stand, and conquer our lives with blade in hand......
