I heard it recently on 89x radio which is a rock/alternative/metal station. It is a male singer and it is a slower song that is sort of depressing. The only words I can remember from the song are something about digging a hole or a grave or digging something. It is not well enough alone by chevelle or epiphany by staind because i already searched them. I know this isn't much but any help would be appreciated.

Depressing? Could it be "Down in a Hole" by Alice in Chains?
There's nothing about digging, but I can't come up with anything better right now. :/
