ok, I concede, this is definitely NO Greek song, not even a song in 'high German', it's an Austrian dialect, BUT this is one of my favourite songs (although I guess, the songwriter never had to work in Greece ), everybody will understand this (I hope so), cause I like to translate it for you to English (perhaps anybody will do the translation to Greek )

ahhhh nice, I supposed this song could express emotions of some of us here

my former German boss in Piraeus told me to listen to this song last year - as he realized that I got the virus called *Greek fever* - and I always remember to this song, when I feel homesick, or like now, when I know that I have to leave soon.

The worst with going to Greece, is the "knowledge" that I have to leave again.... I start thinking about it the minute I have my feet on Greek land...

you know, I have definitely NO underwear with me, cause you gave me the advice to throw it out of my bags .

You found a monastery, that's wonderful!! Now we can start planning...
I'm just "hanging around" waiting to go for work... That's the bad thing about late shifts, all day goes to "waiting" ..

I am too hanging around, but not waiting to go for work, waiting for my friends daughter, and in the afternoon we want to make a long walk on the beach, enjoying the sun, and to buy a few things in Parikia.

oh, and I have to look after some 'halva' - I like it!
