cici there's nothing in arabic called formal and not formal
ma has its usagege and lam has its usages...
arabic is formal all the time

These are components of style and should be adopted to fortify Arabic language speaking skills in the formal variant.

    dear
where here trying to teach how to make right sentence in oringinal arabic which is fus7a and not 3amyia
and even in 3amiya we don't always use SVO
our usage depends on the thing that we think is important to put it first either verb or noun.
lam and ma... each one has its usages and has different meaning

MA is there just because. No one ever uses it. It is considered weak Arabic in formal conventions. you will never see it used to negate the past, but you must know it anyways.

just wanted to say that when using ma you negate a sentence in the past
and when using lam you negate a sentence in present, like
    ما ذهبت الى الشاطئ
    لم يذهب الولد الى الشاطئ
    in addition
lam it seems that it negates action nearby, but ma negates action for long times..

انا اجلس على الكرسي or انا جالس على الكرسي

which one is better to use ?

I have a request. I am Lebanese and I have lost a lot of my Arabic. I was raised in the USA and I'm sixteen. I want to do this same game with someone but who will do just a Lebanese dialect one with me maybe on a private message. Is anybody who is fluent interested?

mavi my friend, hello iam hisham i was just passing by and i would like to say my opinion if its ok.
with all my respect you cant expect people to learn arabic this way.
first of all you must start with basics like for instance the word order in arabic and the pronouns and detailing everything to them exactly like how you and i first learned arabic back at the school
thats it my friend excuse me for being rude
