if you mean ; أَسْرَى so its the plural of أسير that means (captive)

Hi ams298,

Well the message is to be sent to a Yemeni lady who was brought up and learned her Arabic in Saudi Arabia?? So to be safe I think formal Arabic would be best.
But if you happen to know any Yemeni or Saudi colloquial sayings, those would be appreciated as well!!

1) "I'm sorry you are sick/unwell"
= ana asif 3ala innik maritha --- انا اسف على انك مريضة

2) "get well soon"
= inshallah tgomin bil salama qariban ---- انشالله تقومين بالسلامة قريبا

3) "I hope you are well now"
= atmana an tkonin bi kahiyr al2an ---- أتمنى أن تكونين بخير الأن

I just recalled that there was something someone once said to me when I was ill, the literal translation was 'Inshallah God will deliver you' meaning God would make me well; but I can't remember the exact words. I don't know if you or anyone else knows this phrase or saying??
