The Gulf dialect is known to be much harder to understand than the shami/egyptian songs. The reason why shami songs are translated much quicker is purely because the translaters in this forum are more comfortable with it.

You should put a note on this fact if you know it...have seen lots of Khaleeji songs not translated and people getting disappointed...this fact should be brought to light and people to be informed on what to expect...and not stay silent on their posts...hope u get ma point.

First of all:
It is not that Khaleeji songs are disadvantaged here deliberately. Khaleeji dialect is known for its difficulty and its tremendous vocabulary, thus people feel it arduous to translate, when not understanding. We only have a few native Khaleejis, the other ones are non-Khaleejs or not even Arabs, having learnt the language secondarily.

Next:
We are not consciously keeping people waiting. It takes as long as it takes! Our services here are free of charge, do not claim to have professional quality (though some do have such a quality) and are not a right, but an offer or a privilege, which way ever you want to see it.
Being indignant about it is not going to help you, as applicant, nor us as translators. Wait your turn. Thank you.

Do you suggest I tell every one that posts requesting North African/Gulf songs that they'll have to be patient and keep bumping their thread? It really depends on the time it's posted in, different translators become free at different times depending on their availability. Some translators are willing to try and go out of their comfort zone and deal with another accent, others cant.

I've opened this particular thread three different times and tried to translate it, but it proved beyond my capabilities. Please be patient and rememember the members here are volunteering their time and effort - we cant control the dialects population.

am in no caliber to wait.....so don't even bother to translate it...got it buddy? Thanks

I'm sorry but thats a very disrespectful way to talk to someone who only wishes to help you. You're not hiring a translation service to demand a certain time, if you have no 'caliber' to wait (incorrect English I may add) then please get in contact with a translation service. We only wished to help you.
