    guys

i'd like to tell u that i made a new a thread entitled All Translated Words and Explained Grammar Since I Joined, i collected all words that were translated and all grammar questions (OF ALL DIALECTS AND STANDARD ARABIC) that were answered by everyone since i joined this forum in the form of a list that's arranged alphabetically, like a dictionary, when u click on a word or a grammar rule the post that has the meaning of the word or the grammar rule will open to u, the thread is useful if for example u r looking for the meaning of a word or in case u wanna try translating something on ur own (all the words r arranged alphabetically), or in case u have a question about grammar, or in case u wanna easily reach a word meaning or a grammar question that were discussed b4

u can find the following in the thread:
1- all words that were translated by everyone since i joined
2- all grammar questions that were answered and quizzes on them that were made by everyone since i joined
3- all differences between words that were discussed by everyone since i joined
4- all verbs that were conjugated by everyone since i joined

i'm repeating the part since i joined to let u know that the thread doesn't include ALL the translated words and grammar questions in the forum, no only those were made after i joined

the thread can be found in Learning Arabic language & Misc. translations

    or here's a link:

what do it mean exactly "alla y5aliki" ??

to clean something [we use verb]نظف=NaDDafa

    I would say

imbaare7 ana naDDaft bayt tab3i kollo but!!!!

In Syrian when u say about cleaning house there is another verb in spoken dialect

ana 3azzelet I am pretty sure that u can use it interchangably with ana naDDaft

verb 3'asala means to wash\launder something

allah yo5alleke means Let the God preserve you"

bi2oul el matal id7ak tad7ak laka el donya means the proverb says "laugh and the world will laugh to u", it's a proverb that says u should be a cheerful person

i speak Egyptian Arabic so i couldn't understand the word colored in red in the sentence w ma fi chi bye7roz la nebki 3alayi fa a7la chi el ibtisami, the sentence means there's nothing ? to cry over so there's nothing better than a smile, i put ? in place of the word colored in red that i don't understand, my guess for that word is that it may mean worth it

el ibtisami betraye7 el cha5es yali bye7ki ma3ik w bet7asesou bil amen means a smile makes the person u r talking to much feel relieved and secure

    @ CZAREK2581

nice question u know, i added this word to the thread All Translated Words and Explained Grammar Since I Joined and i write each word in both English and Arabic letters so i was asking myself whether the Z (bye7roz) is ز or ظ i didn't know so i didn't write it in Arabic letters and i left it only in English letters, but now i'll add the Arabic spelling too
