Let Mommy/Daddy see Deja a mamá/papá ver

Here in Mexico we just say

Turn on/off the water.
Abre / Cierra la llave ..... (and we know that refers to valve of water)

I have to go from work to the restaurant. That's why I don't want to wait until 8pm.

Si tienes que trabajar el jueves en la manana, te puedes quedar en el cuarto. No tiene sentido manejar todo el camino a casa y volver unas pocas horas luego.

If you have to work in the morning, you can stay in the room. No sense driving all the way home and back a few hours later.
