    Hi,

    I'm new to this board, butr I saw that you have helped others, hopefully you can help me! I go to arabic weddings/parties for friends of mine and hear songs, but I don't know what the names are. Here goes:

    The first one is a song that they play when the groom is giving his bride or fiance her gold, and it goes something like this: "Yallah ya arees lebis hal aroos ahla telbeesa allah ma'ak allah" does anyone know what song I'm talking about?

    The other song is (I think) a debka song, and it goes like this: "yesad rub el banat abuha wa hay" and another line is "mensef wa jaag ma yenfa beitunia" I have looked online for hours and can't find any of these songs or who sings them! Can anyone PLEASE help?

    lol. you must've been going to Palestinians/ Jordanians weddings, cause we're the only nation that sings those songs, yes ma'am.
    the first song is palestinian and the second one is jordanian its known just about anywhere in the ARAB WORLD. well, i spent more than ten minutes looking for this song on utube but i couldn't find it so anyway If I happen to find it I'll definitely post the link for you.

    Thanks LOUIE for looking. I couldn't find either of the songs anywhere! I clicked on the link, but I couldn't get it to play. Do you know the name of the song itself?

    LOUIE i think it's rather jordanian more than palestinian coz mansaf is jordanian meal
    but maybe palestinian jordanian sings this also

    mansaf 3a jaj ( chicken mansaf is palestinian) mansaf 3a lahmeh ( beef mansaf) jordanian.
