This is the translation for one of my favourite song in english. I have studied italian for a few months so there are some phrases I don't fully understand.

i have a small question.
although "meravigliosamente crudele" is literally translated to "wonderfully cruel", i think that the two words are contrast in meaning and can't go together.

Yes, it's all about contrast when Gianna Nannini is concerned. I think "extremely cruel" (the way you translated and the way it makes more sense) is too harsh. "Wonderfully cruel" has a "sfumatura" (as they say in Italian- I guess nuance is the English word) of something that although it's tough it's also pleasant. At least that's my opinion.

Af far as I can remember the lyrics of this song were written by Gianna and the italian writer Isabella Santacroce (one of italian pop pulp writer) and she always used oxymorros in her fiction ^^.
