    Ciao a Tutti

    ora, cominciamo :

    ==========================================
Si sbaglia sai quasi continuamente..........................you know, people make mistakes, almost continuously
Sperando di non farsi mai troppo male...................hoping that they are not hurt so much
Ma quante volte si cade..........................................but alot of times, they fall
La vita sai è un filo in equilibrio..............................you know, life is a thread of balance"equilibrium"
E prima o poi ci ritroviamo distanti........................sooner or later , we will find ourselves apart
Davanti a un bivio............................................. .....infront of a crossroads
Ed ogni giorno insieme per fare solo un metro in più...and everyday together is to make just one more meter
Ci vuole tutto il bene che riusciremo a trovare in ognuno di noi...it needs all the good that we manage to find in everyone of us
Ma a volte poi basta un sorriso solo...........but at some times, a smile can be enough "why not : poi bastare...or poi essere basta....?..basta is an adjective, right ?"
A sciogliere in noi anche un inverno di gelo...to disolve the winter ice inside of us "i think this has the same meaning of the english expression <break the ice>"
E ripartire da zero.............................................. .....and start from zero again
Perché non c'è un limite per nessuno.....................because there is no limit for somebody "nobody"
Che dentro sè abbia un amore sincero..................who inside himself has a sincere love
Solo un respiro........................................... .............just a breath
Non siamo angeli in volo venuti dal cielo..................we are not angels in a flight coming from the sky
Ma gente comune che ama davvero....................but normal people who truely love
Gente che vuole un mondo più vero..................people who want a more true world
La gente che incontri per strada in città..........people whom you meat in a streat in a city "strange use of <per> ??"
Prova e vedrai ci sarà sempre un modo.........try and you will see there will always be a way
Dentro di noi per poi riprendere il volo..........inside us to fly again
    Verso il sereno............................................ ..towards happiness
Non siamo angeli in volo venuti dal cielo......we are not angels in a flight coming from the sky
Ma gente comune che ama davvero............but normal people who really love
Gente che vuole un mondo più vero...........people who want a more true world
La gente che insieme lo cambierà.............people,who together, will change it "the world"
Gente che vuole un mondo più vero..........people who want a more true world
La gente che insieme lo cambierà............people, who together, will change it
Insieme lo cambierà, proverà.................together will change it , will try.
    Gente che proverà.................................people who try
Lavori lo cambierà, riuscirà...................work will change it, will "manage to change it "
Gente che riuscirà................................people who can "change it"
Insieme ci riuscirà, cambierà...............together we will be able to do it , change it
Gente che cambierà...........................people who will change it

    =================================================
    =================================================
i noticed that gente , take the third "singular" conjugation of the verbs...not "plural" as in english......though it means "people"......

i wrote another notices within the translation:
    1-puo basta
    2-per strada
    3-sciogliere un inverno di gelo

    ==================================================
Again thanks for bothering u....i feel embarrased by your kindness , i really appreciate it....

    Grazie mille

Sperando di non farsi mai troppo male./ hoping to don't hurt themselves too much. "Farsi male" is a reflexive verb, it means"fare male a se stessi" (to hurt yourself).

Perché non c'è un limite per nessuno/ because there is no limit for nobody/anybody

La vita sai è un filo in equilibrio./ you know, life is a thread in balance

-"Basta" is the verb "bastare"-->"to be enough". The verb "potere"+ "bastare" has the same meaning.
"Questi soldi non bastano per comprare uno stereo nuovo!" (these money are not enough to buy a new stereo)
"Quante uova ti servono per la torta?" "tre possono bastare" (how many eggs do you need for the cake? three are enough)
-Used as an exclamation: Basta! or Basta così! means "that's enough" Stop it!"
-Used with a verb means "you just have/need to...":
Se ti serve qualcosa, basta chiedere! (in case you need something, you just have to ask")
"Basta che" means "provided that, as long as". You can use "purchè, a patto che"
Verrò con te alla festa, basta che/purchè tu la smetta di lamentarti! (I'll come to the party with you, as long as you stop complaining).

"per strada" means "on the street" or "along a road"

"break the ice" is "rompere il ghiaccio" and means "to overcome obstacles and make a beginning; to introduce a subject". When you meet someone for the first time and you start a conversation after you got over the initial embarrassment, it's "rompere il ghiaccio".

"A sciogliere in noi anche un inverno di gelo" can be "(just one smile is enough) to melt the ice of a winter inside us". It's a poetic way to say that it can make you feel better, loved.
"-Please tell me you're going to appeal to my humanity..."
"-Actually, I'm planning to threaten you."

"Well, if you'll excuse me, I have work to do. Evil plots don't just make themselves, you know!"

okay but my question is :

when two verbs follow each other , the second should be in the infinitive form like : non posso t'aiutare....right or what ??..

so i thought she has to say : puo bastare...

    even in your example :

""Quante uova ti servono per la torta?" "tre possono bastare"

that's what i mean....so is there a rule or something for using "basta" instead of bastare ?..

    ----------------------------------------------------

and as always....millions of thanks to you...my teacher and friend..

"Basta" can be used as an impersonal verb sometimes. "non basta volerlo, devi anche guadagnartelo" ( 'tis not enough to want something, you must earn it), "per cominciare la partita basta premere start" (to start the game you just have/need to press the start button)

The phrase can work even with "può bastare". "A volte può bastare un sorriso solo a sciogliere....". So is for my example "tre uova bastano".

"Potere, dovere, volere" (to can, to must, to want) are modal verbs, so they are usually followed by an infinitive verb.
"puoi spegnere lo stereo, per favore?" (can you please turn off the stereo?)
"Non voglio più vederti!" (-non voglio più vedere te!)- (I don't wanna see you anymore)
"Non posso venire al parco, devo guardare la gara in tv!" (I can't come with thee to the park, I have to watch the race on tv)
"-Please tell me you're going to appeal to my humanity..."
"-Actually, I'm planning to threaten you."

"Well, if you'll excuse me, I have work to do. Evil plots don't just make themselves, you know!"

Non c'è di che, mi fa piacere esserti d'aiuto!
And about the thanking words...don't worry, we pratically use only "grazie" or "grazie mille"!
"-Please tell me you're going to appeal to my humanity..."
"-Actually, I'm planning to threaten you."

"Well, if you'll excuse me, I have work to do. Evil plots don't just make themselves, you know!"
