Resolution der Kommunarden
1. In Erwägung unserer Schwäche machtet ihr Gesetze, die uns knechten soll'n
die Gesetze seien künftig nicht beachtet in Erwägung, daß wir nicht mehr Knecht sein woll'n.
Refrain: In Erwägung, daß ihr uns dann eben mit Gewehren und Kanonen droht
haben wir beschlossen, nunmehr schlechtes Leben mehr zu fürchten als den Tod.
2. In Erwägung, daß wir hungrig bleiben wenn wir dulden, daß ihr uns bestehlt
wollen wir mal feststell'n, daß nur Fensterscheiben uns vom Brote trennen, das uns fehlt.
3. In Erwägung, daß da Häuser stehen während ihr uns ohne Bleibe laßt
haben wir beschlossen, jetzt dort einzuziehen weil es uns in uns'ren Löchern nicht mehr paßt.
4. In Erwägung, es gibt zuviel Kohlen während es uns ohne Kohlen friert
haben wir beschlossen, sie uns jetzt zu holen in Erwägung, daß es uns dann warm sein wird.
5. In Erwägung, es will euch nicht glücken uns zu schaffen einen guten Lohn
übernehmen wir jetzt selber die Fabriken in Erwägung, ohne euch reicht's für uns schon.
6. In Erwägung, daß wir der Regierung was sie immer auch verspricht, nicht trau'n
haben wir beschlossen, unter eig'ner Führung uns nunmehr ein gutes Leben aufzubau'n .
In Erwägung, ihr hört auf Kanonen and're Sprachen könnt ihr nicht versteh'n
müssen wir dann eben, ja das wird sich lohnen die Kanonen auf euch dreh'n!

1. Knowing we are weak you pass more laws - laws to make us slaves that’s why we’ve sworn
That from now on we these laws will just ignore and simply stop being slaves any more.
2. And ALTHOUGH we know you’ll turn to violence, no other language do you understand.
We’ve decided that it’s only common sense to risk our lives and make a stand.
3. Knowing that we'll go on being hungry, If we let you go on stealing what's our due
We have realised that it's only window panes that separate the bread from us to keep for you.
4. Knowing there are houses standing empty, while you leave us homeless on the street
We've decided that we're going to move in now, we're tired of having nowhere dry to sleep.
5. Knowing that you’ll never change the system, and provide us all with wages that are fair,
So we will take over all the factories there will be quite enough for us when you’re not there.
6. Knowing that there’s coal there in abundance, while we huddle, shivering in the cold;
We’ve decided that we’ll go and help ourselves to keep the people warm both young and old.
7. Knowing that we cannot trust our rulers, Irrespective of the promises they preach
