Greg Salwen – Letras de A Hint Of Guilt
I've encountered shapes I've never touched before today
And numbers that should never be found on the same page
As the words I chose
As the words I know
To be poetic, and therapeutic
Still my mouth is muted
I will never ever admit to this
My fingers shiver at the trembling thoughts I can finally write down
And the notes they gather, but soon will shatter at the apparent sound
Of footsteps ringing
Of footsteps leaving
The abstract thought of this fleeting scenery
Under visionaries
Trying to invent the stories
Well my two favorite people
In my two favorite places
As far away from me as possible
Could anything make this day more complete?
A broken camera
In a million pieces
But baby, don't break a sweat
Because those pictures were past
And past is void now,
It reminds to leave the door open
And let the pain get out
Before eat away at what’s beneath
The covers of my bed
Or at least what's left of them
So I ran away instead
Of wasting my time
Cleaning up all
The shit you left around
To remind me of the wasted minutes
That had potential for moments
But I was sucked into panic
That’s me the romantic
That’s me, have you had enough yet
No? Well we can speak of more scenarios
Details that'll break into stereo
And I know it's hard to believe ladies and gentleman
That none of them will ever happen
Never happened
