But...no original lyrics, no Greeklish; that's why I linked, to get lyrics.
And in your first post you say, you need translations, so I linked you to translations...
You could of bump the existing open threads with your requests too, as different songs go to different threads...

Xtapodi just a suggestion: Try to write the lyrics according to pronunciation and not according to spelling. I mean if Anica can't read the word βρέχει, she won't be able to read vrexei either...

Hmmm.... but as the word is written βρέξει in Greek letters shouldn't it be vrexei in Latin!? The only other way of writing it that I can think of is vrexi, but I think that when someone listens to the song and reads the transcription it's easy to find out how ει/ei is pronounced.
Or do I just don't understand what you mean??

Sorry wrong example, I don't know this song and the lyrics. So about vrexei you could also write it vrexi or vreksi, or ime instead of eimai etc. You're right that it's easy to figure out how it is pronounced a word, but it is simply confusing. But that's only a suggestion, you should write them as you like and it's easier for you.

I prefer latinizing the words letter by letter because in my opinion that's the "most logical" way to do it. When I started learning Greek and I wasn't able to read Greek letters yet, I tried to figure out their meaning by reading transcriptions and it was very confusing for me that there are different ways how transcriptions can be done... the transcriptions which were very helpful for me to finally manage to read Greek were the one's where words had been transcribed letter by letter. I think that maybe others who want to learn the Greek alphabet feel the same as I did, that's why I prefer this method of transcription. If anybody wants a transcription according to the pronounciation, he/she can ask (me or others) for it too, of course :-)

In addition, I think that it's difficult to transcribe Greek according to pronounciation, because it depends on people's mother tongue how they'll actually pronounce the words then... for example I've seen "γεία σου" written "yazoo"...
And when "είμαι" is written "ime" the pronounciation is clear for German, Italian, Spanish,... speaking people because they pronounce these letters similarly, but I can't imagine how English or French speaking people might pronounce it
So I believe that listening to the songs is the only way to REALLY find out how words are pronounced the right way.

That's another good example - I use "x" for transcribing "ξ" because we have this letter in German too I've never considered writing "ks" instead...
