    I found this song while randomly browsing YouTube. I watched it and really liked it! I can usually know what a song is saying when I find the Arabic lyrics, but with this one I only know a few of the sentences. Can anyone help me out? What isمجرفي, ام كفوف محنايا سرحتي, and فيات ? Here are the lyrics:

    يخرب بيتك يا وطفي
    تعالي عينيني نتفة
    درت المي على الساقي
    كسرت ضهري المجرفي

    على حقلي لاشو جايي
    يا ام كفوف محنايا
    ليكو يإدا المراي
    الحمرا كيلوا عالشفة

    ليش شعراتك سرحتي
    تبودرتي و تكحلتي
    بالفيات تفرعتي
    اخدتيلك مية غفوة

    Thanks for ANY help you can give!

    مجرفي
    mjarfee: axe (literal meaning: a farming tool used to drag things)
    ام كفوف محنايا سرحتي
    The one with the Hena hands
    فيات
    Shadows
    The hours of pain have yielded good,
    Which prosperous days refused;
    As herbs, though scentless when entire,
    Spread fragrance when they’re bruised.

    Doh... sorry. I did a search but couldn't find it. Since Arabic names are spelled lots of different ways in English it makes it hard to make sure the song hasn't already been translated. Thanks much!

    yes I know how hard that must be! no probs
    The hours of pain have yielded good,
    Which prosperous days refused;
    As herbs, though scentless when entire,
    Spread fragrance when they’re bruised.
